I have been building web applications since 2007 – from performant, accessible interfaces to API integrations, backend-for-frontend services, AI features, and agentic workflows.
About
My focus is frontend, but my work does not stop at the interface. I build web applications across the stack: components and design systems, API design and integration, backend-for-frontend services, data flows, testing, and deployment.
Since 2007, I have worked on production web applications in demanding environments. At CHECK24, I connected payment interfaces with payment providers and internal APIs. For RTL, I built a NestJS backend-for-frontend for GraphQL services alongside the Smart TV interface. At PROBAT, we developed a modular Angular application for industrial machine control, integrated with a .NET backend.
Today I combine that fullstack experience with AI and agentic engineering: I integrate LLMs and AI features into modern web applications and use agentic workflows to connect technical quality, a consistent brand experience, and high team output.

Projects
Rebuilding a machine control and monitoring system that had evolved over several decades. Implementation of a modular Angular application with a design system for touch panels and desktop, connected to a .NET backend.
Development of a brandable Next.js application using the OpenAI Assistant API. A clear separation of layout and logic components supports tailored client variants and fast design changes.
Fullstack development for the desktop and mobile cruise comparison product with a payment focus: integrating payment providers and internal services, building React/Next.js components, and contributing to gateway API design with the Go developers.
Development of performant, tested VOD applications for multiple Smart TV platforms. Next.js gradually replaced legacy teletext applications, while a NestJS backend-for-frontend consolidated microservices and provided the required GraphQL queries.
Development of a Nuxt.js proof of concept followed by implementation of the booking flow as a Vue SPA with an AEM backend. Contributed to frontend team setup and onboarding, the design system, and strict WCAG requirements.
Relaunch of Interdiscount.ch based on the previously developed Microspot platform. The React application was connected to SAP Commerce and extended into a multi-tenant foundation for multiple shops.
Development of an early React SPA in e-commerce with Redux, server-side rendering, and an atomic design system. Integration with the Hybris backend, now SAP Commerce Cloud.
Development of the email and user area within the denkwerk team. A custom design and component system based on Zend formed the foundation; the large-scale project later transitioned from waterfall to agile Scrum teams.
